Here's the latest on Ed's AFX project. Car is down to bare metal and it's getting back some metal here and there. It looks awesome!

Super stock gril
Until the very last moment I hesitated to go through with this because...converting an excisting gril into a superstock gril means you have to cut up some fine headlight bezels (which cast approx. 4 miljon bucks a piece or so). Antoon and I worked on it for the whole evening. I thought it was easier but the results are amazing. Ofcourse it looks like it doesn't fit, but it's almost impossible to make it look stock or factory. Antoon did a great job...
Grils galore...We could save the original

Euhm
Well...euhm...Mopar enthousiasts would refer to this as...Jap Crap. Actually, this is somehow mopar-related. This is a mid 70-ties Toyota Celica which I saw at a local Vintage Nippon carshow (and some more but I won't bother you with those). I believe, Toyota actually bought the Callenger design and as you can see, there's quite a resemblance. Worth blogging...

1965 A990 clone in progress: the hemi
We saw Phil's car earlier on my blog and now...he has a hemi. This is so freakin' awesome. You can see the 472 elephant motor do it's job on the dyno here:
It comes with some impressive numbers too:
- 560 HP @ 5600 RPM
- 553 ft. lbs @ 5600 RPM
Can wait to see the hemi in the Belvedere...

Cruisin' Angels Saturdaynight Fling
Every second saturday of the month, there's a small meet nearby the Burger King in Eindhoven. Always a nice drive...grab a burger...talk some and drive home again. Nice for a saturday-night start...
Ben's 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner, Red and Wilfred's 1966 Coronet 440.
