Crazy Sunday @ Six-packspeedshop. Carsten brought his 1968 Hemi Roadrunner. 5 General Lee's showed up. Not really my cup of tea but it looks funny though...Sun was shining, Red did good...

Mopar Action Magazine

Yep, the latest issue of the Mopar Action Magazine arrived today. Not much to read for me accept for the last article. It's about Steve Chervinksy's 1963 Dodge Polara. I believe I featured his car some time ago because I found some footage on YouTube. Here's his video profile:

For sale: 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury

Chris (from Germany) send me these shots of a 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury which is for sale. It's got a 383 mill backed up by a 4 speed transmission. You get a spare 383 and some more parts. Drop me a line if you want to know more.

Euhm

Found this car for sale on www.moparts.com. I don't know what it is about this car but there's something fishy about it. Just can't put my finger on it. I like the colorcombo thought...

Super stock gril

Until the very last moment I hesitated to go through with this because...converting an excisting gril into a superstock gril means you have to cut up some fine headlight bezels (which cast approx. 4 miljon bucks a piece or so). Antoon and I worked on it for the whole evening. I thought it was easier but the results are amazing. Ofcourse it looks like it doesn't fit, but it's almost impossible to make it look stock or factory. Antoon did a great job...

Grils galore...We could save the original

Don't be mad at me...

1965 A990 clone in progress: the hemi II

I don't have anything to ad to this...awesome...

Monday, July 20, 2009

Euhm

Well...euhm...Mopar enthousiasts would refer to this as...Jap Crap. Actually, this is somehow mopar-related. This is a mid 70-ties Toyota Celica which I saw at a local Vintage Nippon carshow (and some more but I won't bother you with those). I believe, Toyota actually bought the Callenger design and as you can see, there's quite a resemblance. Worth blogging...

1965 A990 clone in progress: the hemi

We saw Phil's car earlier on my blog and now...he has a hemi. This is so freakin' awesome. You can see the 472 elephant motor do it's job on the dyno here:

It comes with some impressive numbers too:
- 560 HP @ 5600 RPM
- 553 ft. lbs @ 5600 RPM

Can wait to see the hemi in the Belvedere...

Graduates taxi!

It's somekind of a tradition to bring brand new graduates to the prom-night in a nice and unique ride. We saw some pretty strange stuff like dirtbikes, semi's and even forcklifts!

Yesterday evening, Red took some fresh graduates to a party. My girlfriends cousin is one of 'm. Congrats boys! Too bad it poored down when we left...it was fun...

Tom is on the far left...yes, the middle one is wearing clogs...really...

Vehicle inspection

Euhm...you guys are too young to drive :-)

Supermodel

Always wanted to have some professional shots of Red. Ofcourse you got to stick to what you do best so that's why Flying Dutchman & Limpe Iven treated my car as a supermodel. High performance camera's 'n all. Will post some results soon. Thanks!

Small industrial area in Eindhoven was used as a background. Amazing how the contrast works.

Funny how things go sometimes. Ben with his (flawless) 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner was there too...What are the odds...

Casey's new toy

Recieved this picture from Casey today...he made me jealous...Awesome. This is going to be the base for his project. As far as I know, he's real busy collecting the right parts and has some very nice ideas of what the car is going to be. Ofcourse, it's going to be black...
