Almost there...

I have a containernumber so I can track it down via the Maerskline website. It was discharged in Bremerhaven, Germany and now it's loaded again on the Maersk Antares which will head for Rotterdam. Nice shot of this brand new vessel of the Maersk fleet:

I'm keeping my fingers crossed...Hope everything will go right this time...

Pentastar location

One of our not-to-mention-by-name mopar brothers, once ordered two of those gold/bronze colored pentastars and he only has one mopar...so we laughed at him. Here's how and where to punt your pentastar on your car:

1963 Army Dodge at Bob's

Thought I would help Bob...this car's for sale at Bob Mosher's. I like it. Would like to have it too. But transport to The Netherlands is completely off-scale in comparrison what the car costs. To bad...I really like at as a daily.

1968 Plymouth GTX

I was wandering through my picture archive and came across this one. It's not an early B, but I think this one of the best looking GTX's I've ever seen. Oh, it's a survivor by the way...

Evil sister

For sale on eBay, my car's Evil Sister: 1965 Dodge Coronet Hemi. Like the front wheels. Personally I would've mounted steelies in the back.

My daily AF/X

Overhere, where gasprizes are WAY MUCH higher than on every other place in the world, it's not very efficient to drive a gaspowered V8 gasguzzler as a daily driver. In stead, I have the opposite; a 1989 Suzuki Alto GLX AF/X. Itsn't she cute...

Track 'n trace

Got a containernumber this week from the transport company. Now I can track 'n trace the container which (hopefully) contains my car.

Anger

I was looking for a suitable picture that would express my anger towards the shipping company. This is the one:

Burn in hell: shipping company!

I'm so damn pissed of you can't even imagine. After being told my car was on the Glasgow Maersk and on her way to Europe, the fuckers just LIED. I just can't understand WHY they would do that. The car is STILL IN NEWARK U.S.A.!!!! FUCK! Excuse my french but I'm just so finished with these "nice" shipping companies where "customer satisfaction" is #1 and "good service" is #2. Well, eat it, sit on it and you can stick that where the sun doesn't shine. Customer testimonials on their site...pfff choke on it, get a fat brain. This will be, the last time ever I will ship a car across the big pond.

Attempt 2 is put in motion. Now the shipping company promissed me the car is on the Maersk Messologi (former Mayview Maersk as seen here on the picture. I told my contact that this was very hard to believe until proven otherwise. We'll see...we'll see...

Full Speed Ahead! Ay Captain!

Don't you just love modern technology? You can trace the ship's position via internet:

Glasgow Maersk

Well...I hope this is the last post I will ever do about my car being transported to The Netherlands because I'm getting tired of waiting and being informed wrong. My contact promissed me that this time, the transport company on the other side of the big pond, has scheduled my car for transport. After some detective work, I found out that the vessel with my container has left the Newark Harbour on the 14th of may at noon and will arrive the 24th of may in the port of Rotterdam. Here's an actual shot if the Glasgow Maersk and what a nice ship she is...

Mr. Classic vs Candymatic

62 dash?

I found this 1963 Plymouth Savoy on Cars-On-Line:

It's not cheap so to speak. It looks nice but when I looked at some pictures, I noticed that this car has a 1962 dash. Is this possible?

1965 Dodge Coronet Wagon

This car lives in the Netherlands. You can find some info on the website of the Trashers Carclub: http://www.trashers.nl/. I don't know what happend to this car or what the current state is but I like it. I like white wagons...Did I mention that before?
