Interiors galore
During my quest for my ride, I collected about 2000 pictures from 1962 to 1967 mopars. Now...sorting them by model isn't that hard but when it comes to sorting the interior pics, that's a real challange...Could you tell what year this front bench seat is? My guess it's 1965 but what brand? Plymouth? Dodge? Well...I have about 200 more to go...

Grandma's bus...
A couple of years ago, I bought a house which needed some serious attention so I got to live with my grandma for a while. She's great and she has the best stories about her dad's buscompany. Once, she showed me these pictures..."look, that's our new little Ford bus!". Interested in everything that says "vintage", I studied the pictures closely and O.M.G. fell upon me. I'm not sure about the first picture but the second one is a real Mopar for sure! Now I'm even more proud of my grandma...

Ouch
A good friend of mine sold his '68 Mustang Fastback. With some liquid means in his pocket, he can start his quest for a new set of wheels. The other day, he told me that he really liked the 1964 Dodge Polara (yeah, I talked some sence in him) so I helped him find some nice ones. I ended up with this specimen below...omg...This guy's passengerside tire blew. Never hope to experience that. It's a Max Wedge powered car...

Oliver Zinn's 1963 Plymouth Belvedere
Here's some footage of Oliver Zinn's 1963 Plymouth Belevedere with a blown hemi. I've seen this car upclose and it's really awesome.

Mopar Action
I subscribed to the Mopar Action magazine a few years ago. The reason to pick this magazine was that they pay a lot of attention to original Mopar stuff, and, now and than, some Oldskool stuff. But the last couple of issues where filled with hightech crap. I just browsed them and tossed them aside. Never read one complete article. But...yesterday I recieved the newest issue and guess what!? Yummie articles!!!
There's a nice article about a top resto on a 1970 Dodge Challenger. More to be found overhere.
You can find some more info on the Woodstock of Hemi's article here. I wanne go there!!!
To bad there isn't some extra info on the beautiful 1963 MW 3spd Dodge...That car is awesome.

My patience is tested...
...again. * sigh *
The Coronet is ready to go to the RDW (simular to DMV in the US), the authority to get my car checked if it suits Dutch trafic-laws. If it does, I can get my licenceplates! So...I have to make an appointment. You can do that via the internet or phone. But, the central RDW-computer has crashed...No appointment can be made...I hate modern technology when it is against me :-)

Goldfinger
I came across Roger Gibson's Restauration site and saw that he restored a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere Superstocker. Now that is not what you see on the picture below. The text says it was raced as Goldfinger in Pennsylvania so a quick Google-search resulted in this:
Could this be the 1964 version of the Goldfinger restored bij Roger Gibson?

Swapmeet
Before I got myself into Mopar, I was pretty active in the Volkswagen scene (had a '58 and a '69 Bug, a '58 Panelvan and a '70 Type 3 Fastback). I visited a lot of Volkswagen meets and the all have those huge swapmeets and a great atmosphere. Now that I'm visiting Mopar- and American car meets, there's something missing...Swapmeets. Something that IS a common thing in the US, but overhere, not. That's a shame because parts are hard to get and find at the other side of the pond...That's why I like these pics from Carlise:

1965 Plymouth Belvedere II
This car is (still) for sale in the UK. When I was looking for my early B-body, this was a candidate and, close by (about 1 hour flight across the pond). Ofcourse, I asked for pictures in the first place. Expectations where high because this car was well known and even featured in a magazine. But...it wasn't. The VIN-tag was oversprayed and paint was thick and bad. I had to let this one go...sad, it carries a sweet 440 mill...

Simular
Found this one on the ClassicMuscleCars site. This is what the endresult of Marcel's car could be if he desides to keep the original color. To be honest, I don't like this color that much although it makes it less aggressive and so much more of a sleeper. Still a nice set of wheels though...
