Wagonblog
I found a fellow mopar-blogger who dedicated his journal to his 1963 Dodge 330 Wagon. It's pretty dead but it has some very recognizable shots.

Engine installed
Tonight, we installed the new engine where it belongs: in Red. Everything went smooth...until...an exhaust-strut broke off. I just can't remember how much bad luck is upon me with this Mopar-thing. Maybe I should get myself a nice, 2008 model Toyota Yaris or something like that...whoops...Did I just say that out loud?
Engine is waiting to get into Red
Some of the parts had to be painted. Among these where the motormounts. They should be painted completely, including the rubber.

Yep, there she is! Pretty sight isn't it?

The arrival
Today, Red's powerplant was ready to leave the safe haven in Overpelt, Belgium. So, we transformed the little VW Caddy into 12 cilinder and head home. Compliments go out to the Six-Pack Speedshop Team! The engine looks awesome. They put a great amount of work into detailing the engine so it looks like stock again.

1963 Savoy Project: part 5
As Peebles was a /6 car, the k-member has to be converted into a V8 bigblock one for the motormounts to fit. Now Red's without a powerplant and carries an original bigblock k-member, this was a great opportunity for Marcel and Antoon to create a nice template. Here's the result. I think it looks damn cool:

Mirror mirror on the door
While Marcel and Antoon where working on the K-member, I was trying to figure out how to mount some aftermarket mirrors. Red came without mirrors but Dutch regulations say there has to be at least one mirror on the driverside. The last thing I want is punch some holes in the original sheetmetal so we figured out this is one way of mounting the mirrors. Not the prettiest but the most effective...
New mill
My new mill is being assembled/revived at Six-packspeedshop in Overpelt (Belgium) and I just recieved some shots. It looks awesome...I'm getting it next thursday!!
